Remember AOL, AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, even Q-Link? We do too. That's why we're bringing them back.
Let's go back to the basics - when you hoped your modem would connect to the internet, when you changed
your away message to tease someone, when you used to chat endlessly with people from all around the world. It's back, baby!
We're working to primarily rebuild the original AIM (AOL Instant Messenger), AOL Desktop, Yahoo and ICQ platforms as close to the originals as possible, and
document the entire thing.
Our current AIM and ICQ server is currently in beta stage, exclusive to supporters. We offer support for all clients that connect to the AIM network, including the mobile apps.
If you want to have access to the server and get information on what we're working on, you can learn more about it on our Connecting to AIM or Connecting to ICQ pages.
Our custom server currently supports AOL 4.0, but is still in the alpha stage, exclusive to supporters.
You can learn a bit more about the situation on the Connecting to AOL page.
Yahoo! Messenger support is publicly available and interoperates with our Escargot network.
